Seanchill, the old church
Shankill takes its name from an early church that stood near Shankill Castle, in what is now Rathmichael. Around it are portal tombs, a hillfort, Rathdown grave-slabs, Pale tower houses, the 1795 Lehaunstown camp and the chimney of the Ballycorus lead mines.
